LITTLE SISTERS OF JESUS (LSJ)

In an ordinary life:
Jesus was sent by the Father to proclaim the Good News to the world, and He chose to do it by becoming poor.
He made ordinary life the meeting place with the Father.
The Little Sisters have a specific mission in the Church, to give witness by their lives to this deep meaning of Bethlehem and Nazareth. (Constitution of the Little Sisters)

In small households (3-4 Little Sisters):
At the heart of this world loved by God - sharing the lifestyle, housing and working conditions of their neighbours - each Little Sister is called to be a sign of God's free love and tenderness for every human being.

Where life is prayer and solidarity:
"Loving God and loving people is all my life, I hope." (Brother Charles of Jesus)
"Make yourself all things to all people. Penetrate deeply among people by sharing their life, by friendship and by love, wanting to be among them like the leaven which gets lost in the dough." (Little Sister Magdeleine of Jesus)
