In this Year of Faith a booklet
entitled "On Poetic Wings" by Fr Ralph de Hahn has
been published in the archdiocese and is available in most
parishes and Catholic schools. This book will serve as a
useful tool in the drive for evangelization, and is
recommended for all teachers, catechists and parents, young
people and students. It is the Catholic faith expressed in
simple poetic language. R50 a copy. Phone the Catholic
Bookshop at 021 465 5904 to order your copy.
Bishop Declan Lang and Dr David
Ryall, the chairperson and director respectively of the
International Affairs and International Justice and Peace
departments of the Bishops Conference of England and Wales
were in Cape Town on a short visit. They met with a
cross-section of church-based organisations, sharing
perspectives on South Africa and advocacy issues. Below are a
selection of photos from the meeting.
